Side note: I've run also a sfc /checknow command, which fixed some files. After going back to Germany, the store fails again with the above message. I was also able to set the location to France – and suddenly the store works. Then I went to the Location tab in Region settings, and changed the location from Germany to United States. But the time, the region and other settings was proper. I toke the chance to check my region settings in Settings app and in control panel. I set my Region and Language settings correctly and that fixed the problem for me. I recently had this problem and realized my region settings were incorrect. I found at Microsoft Answers this thread, where somebody mentioned: In Windows 10, maybe only on systems coming from Windows Insider previews, there is a bug. Open start menu, search the Store entry, right click the tile and select the context menu command 'Pin to task bar'. Note: Resetting the store, using the steps given above, removes the Store tile from task bar. I've detailed the steps within my (German) blog post Windows 10: Store zurücksetzen. Then click the Reset button shown within the following window. Then search the entry Store in Apps & features and click Advanced options. Open the Settings app and click the Apps icon within the start page.Ģ. What we also can do: Reset the store via Settings app.ġ. I haven't tested to clean the store cache manually. Resetting the Store, using wsreset.exe like I detailed within my (German) blog post Windows 10: Store zurücksetzen didn't help.Another machine with 64 bit didn't show the issue.

(Insider Preview with 32 Bit Fall Creators Update Build 16299.19). The error doesn't depends on a user account – I had it on all accounts on that machine.
